Head of Social Welfare Organization issued a messages about Psychologist Day

Dr.Ghobadi Dana, Head of SWO on the occasion of National Day of psychologist and consultant issued a message as follows “

“The growth and development of societies with rapid technological change, science and technology and the survival of existing structures as the consequences of unbalanced development create different contradictions and transform conventional mechanisms based on relationships and culture. This issue along with social issues has caused feelings of psychological and social well-being, self-efficacy, intergenerational dependence and self-prosperity, Social institutions and macro structures. Meanwhile, the legal role and status of psychology and counseling in the country's health system and family care, as well as the significant impact of counseling and psychological services in improving the quality of life, tranquility and social psychological security of individuals is displayed on a long horizon. State Welfare Organization Based on its inherent and legal missions,to developing psychological and social health indicators, recognizing the trend of changes in risk factors and protecting social mental health, developing a system for monitoring social harms, providing counseling and psychological services to Children, students and families, providing divorce counseling services, community-based psychological interventions and support after accidents and disasters(MOHEB plan), various educational activities  has aimed at improving the knowledge and professional skills of psychological service providers and assistants, Expansion of social emergencies.

Obviously, the organized participation and huge capacities of the specialists of psychological associations, research institutes, academic assemblies, the union complex of the Psychological System Organization, organizations and counseling centers, community-based groups, charitable organizations and non-governmental organizations, have been powerful arms and honest colleagues of this organization in policy making, leading and implementing social health programs.
